Stainless Steel Cut Wire CrNi is a cut wire shot made of stainless steel with chrome and nickel, manufactured by Kuhmichel and supplied by Rexpo under the Rexpo Industrial Abrasives line. It is a high-performance material used mainly for shot peening and for processing granite and natural stone, and it is valued for its long service life and its corrosion resistance.
Its typical composition, with 11.5–20 % chrome and up to 10 % nickel, is what makes it stainless. The grain is cylindrical or rounded, with a hardness of approximately 400 to 670 HV depending on grain shape and diameter. As a reusable abrasive, it can be recovered and returned to the blasting circuit in equipment designed for it.
It can be used in both pressure blast systems and wheel blasting machines, and it is supplied in grain sizes from 0.3 to 2.0 mm, with other sizes on request. The product can be delivered to DIN 8201-4, SAE AMS 2431/4 and SAE J441 specifications.

Yes. It is a reusable abrasive that can be recovered and returned to the circuit in equipment with a recycling system. The number of cycles depends on each process and installation.

In 25 kg sacks on pallets, up to 1 t per pallet, or loose in a 1 t big bag.
